MY FELLOW INSTRUCTORS

I chose my instructors very carefully.  They are considered Masters in their field and have decades of teaching experience. They love what they do, want to share their knowledge, and help everyone who attends a workshop become a more skilled massage therapist.



Jongrak Intatha, LMT, CTMT 

Thai Master Instructor

Jongrak Intatha, is a native of Thailand with two decades of experience in Thai Massage. She began practicing the Art of Thai massage at the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 1990. From there, Jongrak continued to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Spa in Bangkok as a Thai Massage trainer. In 2001 she relocated to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Spa in Miami, FL. and then trained therapists employed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Spas throughout Asia, Europe, India, and Canada until 2010. In addition to teaching, Jongrak has maintained a thriving private practice for 18 years and in 2011 opened Baan Thai Massage in Boca Raton, FL. which quickly became a success.

Jongrak began offering her expertise as a Master Instructor to UTI in 2010, to assist in the promotion of authentic traditional Thai massage nad its ancient wisdom. Her classes are limited in number and size provide a fantastic learning opportunity. Those fortunate enough to attend will learn the history and practical techniques of Thai massage as they were originally practiced in the Orient. Jongrak understands how to convey her exceptional to novice and advanced therapists alike. She is a Florida State Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified CEU Provider for the Florida Board of Massage Therapy & National Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork NCBTMB.

Eston Dunn, MS, ACSM, LMT

Workshop and Home Study Course Instructor

Eston Dunn began his career in the allied health field in 1987 after becoming certified with the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America and eventually becoming a Certification Specialist. Eston continued his education earning a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Communication and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise Science and Wellness from Florida Atlantic University as well as a Master of Science in Health Science from Stafford University. Eston holds certifications from the Aerobics and Fitness Association in Group Exercise Leadership & STEP Aerobics, from the American Council on Exercise in Personal Training in Weight-Room Training, and from the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health and Fitness Instructor.

After eight years as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist for Broward County General Medical Center in the Dean Ornish Heart Trials in Fort Lauderdale, Eston worked as a Health Educator with the Broward Country Department of Health specializing in HIV/AIDS Education & CPR. In 2001 Eston entered the Massage Therapy field as a Human Sciences professor at the Florida College of Natural Health and currently holds his Florida license in massage [LMT].

Since 2009 Eston has written 6 extremely well-received home study courses for UTI: HIV AIDS Education, Professional Ethics, Florida Laws & Rules, Preventing Medical Errors, Balancing Body Energy, and Introduction to Reflexology. Most recently Eston helped develop and began instruction UTI's Foam Roller Therapy Workshops.



Kerry Stewman, M.Div., LMT, CNMT

Workshop Instructor

Kerry came to massage by chance in 1997 while looking for something to fill sabbatical time and continued because she loved the work. She received her basic massage training from the Venice School of Therapeutic Massage. She took her first Traditional Thai Massage class in 2000 and has also studied in Thailand. Her passion for learning is reflected in a B.A. from Middle Tennessee State University, an M.Div. from Yale, and the accumulation of over 1500 CEUs since being licensed. And she enjoys sharing that knowledge with others. She has taught at the Bonita Springs School of Massage and been a teaching assistant with UTI since 2004. She has also edited and helped write several UTI class manuals.

Currently, Kerry divides her time between parish work in Ft. Myers and her private practice in Naples where she specializes in oncology and prenatal massage and in scar tissue work, primarily with burn survivors. She has adapted many Thai techniques for use with these special populations.



Cynthia Adams, LMT, CTMP

A licensed massage therapist since 1997 Cynthia received her massage training from the Florida College of Natural Medicine. It was there that she was introduced to Thai Massage by Universal Touch president and lead instructor Margie Meshew. After participating in many of Margie's Swe-Thai, Table Top Thai and Traditional Thai continuing education massage workshops and completing the Universal Touch apprentice program, Cynthia became an assistant instructor in 2006. In 2011 Cynthia completed Thai Massage Master Instructor Jongrak Natasha's 10-day course and earned the title of Certified Traditional Thai Massage Practitioner. In 2015 Cynthia was promoted to Instructor and is now teaching Swe-Thai Massage Techniques Workshops which just happens to be her favorite type of massage.

In addition to her work with Universal Touch, Cynthia has worked as a massage therapist for, players of the Miami Dolphins, Walt Disney World Resorts, and has owned her own practice since 2008. Cynthia grew her private practice and contributes much of her success to using Swe-Thai Massage as her main modality. Her passion now lies in teaching fellow massage therapists the Swe-Thai Techniques in hopes that it will help save their bodies and enhance their careers as much as it has hers.

Cynthia Adams currently lives with her husband and two daughters in Lakeland, Florida.
